Environmental Statement

quote Our goal is to provide the most comprehensive solutions to our clients and customers from design and planning through financing to installation and after-care – including lifetime systems management to ensure maximum return on investment. quote

In doing so, we believe we can make a clear and sustainable difference in the UK marketplace to energy usage and emissions, promoting the generation of cleaner energy and helping organisations to reduce their carbon footprint.

Use of technology

Modern technology means we can harness the power of the sun in a way that makes commercial sense. We foresee solar systems installed on the roof of every building, supported by other micro-renewables and technologies designed to promote and deliver cleaner power and achieve significant reductions in carbon emissions and so reduce an organisation’s carbon footprint. As the market for renewable energy grows and demand speeds up, our hope is that many thousands of additional and sustainable jobs will be created in areas ranging from R&D through design and manufacturing to installation and support.

Responsibility - CSR

An Environmental Policy and a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy are fundamental to our business and how we interact with customers, partners, employees and all other stakeholders. Responsibility for this rests with members of the senior management team: Andrew Nesbitt, MD and Brendan Kilgallon, Commercial Director.

Management statement

We strive to achieve the highest social and environmental goals and, in doing so, aim to influence everyone who we meet and work with. We proactively seek suppliers who share our goals while active encouraging customers. As a team we aim to operate with minimal impact on our surroundings, working to optimise energy usage and minimise waste. To help achieve this we will:

Renewable Energy
  • The UK currently gets 5.5% of electricity from renewable sources - that must increase to around 30% to meet the 15% 2020 target for all energy
  • Modelling shows that small-scale renewable installations could meet 2% of electricity demand in 2020
  • The UK currently gets less than 1% of heat from renewable sources - this must rise to around 12% to meet the 15% 2020 target for all energy
